Nothing is not about power. Every single interaction involves the use of it. Money, beauty, kindness, humour, knowledge, etc - are all just forms that power can take. What differentiates the different types of power, is the archetypal pattern inherent in it.
At any given time you are taking someone’s power, sharing power with someone, or empowering another.
One of the greatest powers of all is the power of Seduction.
It is pointless to try to argue against such power, to pretend that you are not interested in it, or that it is manipulative and shallow. The harder you try to resist the lure of seduction – as an idea, as a form of power – the more you will find yourself fascinated. The reason is simple – most of us have known the power of having someone fall in love with us. To be desired is perhaps the closest anybody in this life can reach to feeling immortal.
We are being seduced all the time. Economies, relationships, careers, run on the fuel of seduction.

Anxiety has become synonymous with our daily existence. But the power of a word like anxiety that says so little about what emotional response our bodies are experiencing is completely overlooked by our familiarity to its use. ‘Anxiety’ doesn’t help to illuminate what you are feeling or to understand your emotional response to a situation or thought.
